Pyy is the mascot of Slim64FS — the crash-safe filesystem for removable flash media. This is the official home of Pyy goods: plushies, shirts, stickers, and other things that survive being dropped.
Section 01
A platypus is nature's oddball composite: a duck bill, a beaver tail, fur, venom, and eggs — from a mammal. On paper it should not work. In practice it has shipped continuously for millions of years, surviving every environment it was dropped into.
Slim64FS is the same idea in software: an unusual combination — a filesystem written by AI under strict human governance — that should not work, and then survives a 310-trial crash matrix with zero corruption. Pyy is that spirit with a bill on it.
Pyy keeps things simple, the way the filesystem does: write once, verify, go idle. No drama while the light is blinking. If the battery dies mid-nap, Pyy recovers to the last committed nap.
The engineering lives at slim64fs.org — specifications, crash matrices, and audit ledgers, all public. This site is the fun half: putting the platypus on things.
Section 02
Nothing ships yet — every item below is in preparation. Interest email decides what gets made first, so if you want one, say so: one click, no forms, no mailing-list machinery.
The flagship. A soft, huggable platypus for developers, creators, and anyone whose data has ever survived a power cut.
The one-color Pyy on a graphite tee. Single print pass, no partial writes.
Graphite hoodie, embroidered Pyy. Warm cream drawstrings, race-to-idle pockets.
Die-cut Pyy stickers — illustrated, plush, and monochrome variants. CRC-checked adhesion to laptops.
The head icon on a graphite mug. Contents commit whole or not at all — mind the fill-or-kill line.
Prices and shipping will be announced with each item. Interest emails are used for a one-time availability notice — nothing else, no list, no tracking, consistent with the privacy policy.
Section 03
The project is deliberately split. The engineering is free forever; the character pays for the plushies.
The filesystem — every line, every spec, every test log — is released under the MIT License at github.com/slim64fs/slim64fs. Zero legal friction: camera companies, embedded vendors, and hobbyists can adopt it without a licensing conversation. Buying merch never becomes a requirement for using the software.
Pyy's artwork, name, and character identity are proprietary trademarks of 64-4 Systems and are not covered by the MIT License. This site is the official — and only — source of genuine Pyy goods. If you'd like to license the artwork, write us.
